Meet the Team
Natalie Thompson-Assistant Manager
As a little girl raised in San Diego, Ca and Phoenix, AZ she saved every stray and injured animal possible. Her Dad nicked named her Ellie Mae. Natalie moved to the Lake Charles area 10 years ago and now has a small farm with all kinds of animals, horses, donkeys, sheep, and goats just to name a few.
Natalie worked as a Vet Tech for Dr. Harper at Animal Medical Center of Moss Bluff for several years and has the special caring nature and experience Paws on the Geaux looks for in their employees.
I am a Mother of three wonderful children and two fur babies. As long as I can remember I have always wanted to work with animals.. Being a Veterinarian was always my dream job, but I did not think I could get past the part of putting them to sleep. So I decided to choose another career that lets me help dogs in a positive way. Being a groomer lets me do just that. I get to make each and every dog that I touch look and feel so much better. To help me accomplish this I am AKC Safety certified and Certified in CPR and First Aid for Cats and Dogs because the safety of your pet is the most important thing.
Stephanie DiNardo-Pet Sitter/Attendant
Ever since I was a child no matter what animal I came across I loved it. When I was able to nurse an animal back to health those were the happiest moments of my life. I have a background in Law Enforcement but it didn't seem to fit and I wanted to work with animals. I was searching for a job and came across Paws on the Geaux on a Veterinarians Page. I called and knew that it was the job for me! I have my dream job! We are all about the animals. They may be yours but in our hearts we love and care for them as they were our own.
